हर चेहरे से, रूठ गई मुस्कान
ईश्वर-अल्ला कुछ तो देखो,
कैसा हुआ जहान

प्रेम दिलों से, छीन लिया भगवान
हमने सड़कें चौड़ी करलीं,
सोच हो गई तंग है
धन-सम्पति तो बहुत जुटाली,
नैतिकता बदरंग है
विश्वासों को
जंग लग रही, झूठों का भी सम्मान
टी.वी. संस्कृति ने बच्चे भी,
भोले ही भरमाये हैं
बेच किताबें स्कूलों में,
अब खंजर वे लाए हैं
देख दबंगों को
निकलें अब, अनुशासन के प्रान।
देवालय में बम्ब फूटते,
मदिरालय अब सजते हैं।
देश के रक्षक संगीनों में,
घूमें डरते-डरते हैं।।
यहाँ क्रूरता,
हिंसा, नफ़रत, रोज़ चढ़ें परवान।
मसल रहे हैं लोग यहाँ पर,
अब इठलाती कलियाँ भी।
उग्रवाद ने दंश दिया है,
सिसक रही हर गलियाँ भी।।
दानवता के
